The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) spends millions of your dollars each year to lobby not only your local government but your federal government. They are attempting to put more and more restrictions on pet breeders and owners (that is us folks). This is your problem as a pet owner, as well as the pet breeders, since the passage of more legislation will effect your right to own/breed any pet(s).

Your local and federal legislative officials rarely hear from or meet the people they represent that are pet owners or breeders. For years, the public believed that a handful of people couldn't take away the rights of the majority. It is happening every day! Your elected officials need to hear from you since the only thing they hear, for the most part, is the outcry from HSUS or Peta.

Remember - we vote and pay their salaries! They work for you!
